Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. Blood is essential to help patients survive surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries. The need for blood is constant. Blacknall-Chess Post 4639 was chartered on November 16th, 1945 by returning Veterans of World War II.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.  We hope you find what you need on this website and invite you to contact us if needed.

- The Post will be closed on Friday, 24 November for the holiday weekend.  Please join us for dinner next week on Friday (1 December) and some comradery.  The planned menu will be posted on our Facebook page when it is announced.  Dinner will start at 6:00 PM and run until 7:30 PM.
